Election Day Tomorrow...

In America there was such a BUZZ about the election, would Obama become the first black president? Would a message of hope be spread out to the rest of the world? Well the answer was yes, the whole "Yes we can" campaign charmed not only America but the rest of the world! America could once again become a loved country, the Bush era was over!!!

AMERICA YOU STOLE OUR TORCH!!!!!!

We had the torch, the flame of hope! It was ours in 1994 when we showed the whole world how a nation can forgive and heal itself. The president who won that election was none other than the great Nelson Mandela. The world stood in awe as we proved them wrong, and on inauguration day most of the nation stood together and stood proud.

Lets fast forward 15 years:

We have Jacob Zuma who will in all likelihood win this election. From Nelson Mandela, the ultimate freedom fighter we have a leader who's antics would embaress ANY other political party, but not the ANC and the uneducated masses.

I won't go on about the rape case or the arms deal because we have all heard this - but one has to ask if this happened in America or England would this canidate have a snowballs chance in hell of succedding ? HELL NO...

Tomorrow I go out and cast my vote, it is a vote of hope on that do not get me wrong - however its a different type of hope, it is a hope that with my vote I can stop a corrupt party from getting a 2/3 majority and changing our constitution, it is a vote where I know I cannot win the battle but I hope to win the war.

Tomorrow we vote and I truly do believe that the future of my beautiful country hangs in the balanace, we need to ensure Jacob Zuma does not get to change the constitution, or all those who have died in South Africas bloody past would have died for NOTHING....
